1-1 Throwing Classes

Our one on one throwing classes are the perfect setting to try throwing on the wheel for the first time, or to improve your throwing skills with feedback from an experienced thrower.
You will get a demo from the teacher first, then have your turn on the wheel. You will get feedback on your throwing form as you go. This 1-1 setting allows the teacher to give you their full attention instead of being split between multiple students, which makes a big difference especially at the starting stage of throwing!
If you have a specific project in mind, the teacher will help you plan and execute it on the wheel.
You can keep one piece to fire and glaze, and can pay an extra £5 per extra piece you keep if you want to keep more.
After this class, it is advised you return for a trimming class, where you will learn to refine your pieces on the wheel.
When it is finished, your work will be bisque fired, and you will come back in for a glazing class to glaze your piece. We will fire it a second time for you, at which point it will be finished and ready to pick up!
