Glaze Chemistry - Practical

This is a practical class to go along with our “Glaze Chemistry - Theory” class.
For this class you will show up with a few glaze recipes you would like to test out, found either online or in a glaze recipe book. The teacher will help you to pick one, and make any adjustments if necessary.
You will mix up a small amount of your glaze, and apply it to a test tile, which is designed to show you what your glaze will look like in different thicknesses and on different surfaces, an important skill for glaze-makers to keep track of your experiments!
The tile will then be fired to 1240℃, logged in our database, and returned to you!
