Making Magical Creatures

In this class you will design and create your own magical creature, using various handbuilding techniques.
You will start by learning several surface decorating techniques that look like animal fur, feathers, and scales. Then you will brainstorm about what kind of creature you want to create. Finally, we will build the base structures of our creatures and use the techniques learned earlier to bring them to life!
Following the class, your creature will be bisque fired, and you will come back in for a glazing class to glaze your piece. We will fire it a second time for you, at which point it will be finished and ready to pick up!

Materials
Bisque firing - this is the initial firing of your piece that will make it ready to glaze.
Glazing - you can either come in and glaze your work yourself OR your instructor can glaze it for you. These options will be discussed in class.
